Ex : di P&G ada flexytime. Namun di Konimexkerja sudah ditentukan waktunya. Masuk jam 8 dan harus menyelesaikan projectnya.

-        Setiap jabatan punya persayaratan.

Dari S1 yang dicari adalah KREATIFITASNYA

Wawancara USER = harus belajar, tau teori ( ex: akuntansi harus tau journal). Dan yang paling penting harus tau ttg perusahaan. (ex : kenapa budgeting di perusahaan harus begitu??) .

S1 di recruit untuk jd assiten manajer sudah di level officer, disiapkan jd pemimpin perusahaan.

APA yang perlu dipersiapkan??

  1. Mendaftarkan pada perusahaan yang membutuhkan tenaga kerja. (sesuai persyaratan)
  2. Mempersiapkan diri selama mendaftarkan pekerjaan, mau bekerja supaya tidak lupa ttg teori pd masa kuliah.

-        YANG ADA JUAL BUKAN FISIK!!! S1 level officer

-        Kalau ditanya mau di bayar gak sesuai UMR?? Kalau gak mau ya HARUS BILANG “ GAK MAU!” Harus mumpuni.

-        MAGANG!! Itu penting

-        Ex Marketing : tahu 4P

  1. Mempersiapkan diri sebelum hari H

-        Mencari perusahaan (lokasi) sebelum hari H, jgn menunjukan tanda-tanda yang konyol ( ex : telat saat test).

Dengan alas an mencari tempat???

-        Bersikaplah tenang saat test, mainnya waktu

  1. Menjawablah dengan  “taktis” saat wawancara, jgn bohong . Tidak satupun perusahaan yang mau menerima pelamar yg tidak punya integritas.

TIDAK BERAT KALAU ANDA BENAR-BENAR SERIUS.

A Little Things Called MINING

Just wanna share about some knowledge that I got after a phone call in 06 July 2011, from the Pipe Manager of PT.Freeport.

Places to mine:

  1. Open pit
  2. Underground

 

  1. Tin
  2. Gold
  3. Copper
  4. Coal

 

This was the knowledge that I got (in case PT.Freeport)

Risk in Mining Company:

  1. Weather
    1. Rainy

In Rainy Seasons Company will need more effort to do the job.

In rainy seasons production will decrease, because the difficulties to get the product.

  1. Height

The highest place, the heaviest fog they get, and the heaviest rainfall they will get.

  1. Employee Safety

To minimize the risk every mining company must have the good SOP (Standard Operating Procedure)

In the mining company (in this case PT.Freeport) has done a medical checkup in the recruitment and they had done annual medical checkup for every employee:

  • Once time for the open pit’s  employee
  • Twice a year for the underground’s employee

Several Risk that affect the employee safety:

  1. Blasting Explosive
  2. The availability of Oxygen

In the underground and in the highest place the availability of Oxygen becomes a concern.

  1. Wet mud

The flood of wet mud can make the big disaster for that employee.

  1. Cost

Equipment cost will affect the profit maximization. While the weather isn’t good enough to do the job and the machine not run properly, and the company stay to pay the cost of production, to run the machine, in other side the production under the standard.

 

The company can maximize net income by:

  • Give the highest target to the employee, about amount of gold that they must mine.

Usually company gives 20% or 30% more from the standard production.

  • Give the better facilities
    • Place to life

Company gives the place to live near the mining area. Company builds the “living camp” near the area, to minimize the cost of transportation.

  • Beverages

In the living camp, the company provides the beverages too.

  • Recreation

Employee will get bored if there are no “other” facilities in living there.

As u know the mining area usually in the middle of forest. So it is necessary to build the recreation facilities, to keep the mood of the employee.

They build the basketball court, volley , etc.

  • Bonus

Beside their main salary, Company usually gives the bonus for the employee. It called “remote relocation bonus”. It usually gives to the employee that works in the living camp.

  • Medical facilities

 

Every mining company in Indonesia has been audited by the Minister of Mining Once a year. The Minister of Mining gives the regulation for those companies to do their business.

NUEDC 2011

a great experience for me …thanks to the “Critical Thinking Community” that have brought such a great chances for me become the Chief Liaison Officer…
Especially thanks for my besties ever “Dandy Cahyo Wicaksono” , thansk for the great experience… Feel so awesome here.. Feel so special here..

NUEDC is National English Debate Championship that held in Villa Taman Eden Kaliurang from 10 May until 11 May 2011 . . . But as the committee we must stayed there from the 9 May at 7 pm .. to had a preparation…
here is the list of the Committee

as the LO’s , I and  my team must conduct the chamber(the group that debate) to the right room and lead the tournament… we must read the regulation of the tournament.. Make sure all the participant followed the event.. have a good coordination with the adjudicator and the Kopertis committee, and have a great communication skill to solve the problem.

for me , this was my 1st experience to become LO in the debate competition, i have never seen the debate championship before, and for sure this was the National  English Debate Championship.. Feel so proud here for the adventure that i got :D
this debate was consist of 3 Preliminary rounds, 1 quater round, 1 Semifinal , and also Grand Final..
this championship was followed by 35 universities (UGM, UAJY, UNY,UPN,  UII, UKDW, USD, etc) every universities sent their 3 students (2 debaters, 1 adjudicator)
This Championship has several case…

  • this house believe that..
  • this house would..
  • this house support. .

Some cases that i remind are :

  1. THBT mother shouldn’t have an abortion without the consent of the father.
  2. THW prohibit the paying of ransom.
  3. THW condemn companies that seek to avoid 1st world regulation on human drug testing by conducting their testing by conducting their testing in the developing world.
  4. THBT  U.S. government should publish all visual material relating to Osama bin Laden’s death
    (i will tell u later if any further cases that i have found)

once debate round in one chamber we would have 4 teams..

  1. Act As the Opening Government
  • 1 Prime Minister, 1 Deputy Prime Minister
  1. Act as the Opening Opposition
  • 1 Leader of Opposition, 1 Deputy Leader of Opposition
  1. Act as Closing Government
  • 1 Government member, 1 Government Whip
  1. Act as Closing Opposition
  • 1 Opposition member, 1 Opposition whip

The great part in this time was the ” Gala Dinner” time… Many delicious foods there :D .. yummy..
We got “Kambing ” Satay, Tongseng, Ronde, Fish meatballs, Pempek, and so on…
but the almost spectacular thing was the Grand Final ..
we have 4 teams in Grand Final from UAJY, UGM, UAD, and UII
and the winner is UGM, 2nd UAJY, 3rd UAD, 4th UII, and the best speaker is Ms. Asri Agustina from UGM…

i would share some of my dreams after graduate…
1. Work in the multinational Company that located in EAST INdonesia .. while doing my Vision to do charity.. ( have a free school for penniless kids, teach in the school, spread the gospel)
2. get my Certification for 1 star SCUBA diver :D
3. Become part time wildlife photographer :D
4. Get my post graduate scholarship :D
5. GO around the world !! ^ ^ Europe i’m coming :D
6. Become Business Woman that give half of the revenue to do charity, mission trip , free school, etc

7. married with the Man of GOD :) to fulfill His plan for me…Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth.

i will , and will do this… BY HIS GRACE.. and His FAVOR…

1 April 2011 was awesome for me…
meet and have time with Indonesia National Team …
They had coaching clinic in Atmajaya Yogyakarta University at the basketball court…
Coaching Clinic conducted by :

  • Coach Bill McCammon
  • Coach Roul Miguel “Ebos”
  • Coach Margono

It’s awesome to i could meet up with Kak Fury the Manager of Mahaka entertainment ( Mahaka is the part of EO from SM ( Satria Muda Britama, the winner of NBL 2011) ).. Also Kak Sisil* and Kk Hasan the manager of the female team, and so on…

Actually My event NOT running well, there are some mistakes :

  • late , because the participant not come on time to the court…
  • the participant not use the proper apparel ( in coaching clinic , they must use short pants, or apparel that possible to do sport training)
  • Bad coordination between PENGROV PERBASI-UAJY  ( the head of PENGPROV PERBASI not well informed the committee from UAJY, so there are some mistake in the event, like the guess, the time, the ball, and consumption)
    They said that committee from UAJY no need to prepare any food…just glass of water…
    It would be horrible if we not prepare the consumption for the National team as our guess…

Above that i’m very grateful …
because :

  1. i learn much from Kak Rufi Manager of Mahaka entertainment , how to become EO (the detail, the preparation)
  2. Coach Bill really appreciate the event, He has talked directly to me..

    that the event was Good enough..

    n the best thing , he said that “Someday you will see you are in television” —> ameeennn…. ^^

today i learn

” failure is not the worst thing , the worst thing is not trying to do something”

“NO FAILURE –> NO LEARNING “
